What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll spend time both in person and online — leading lively, interactive workshops, updating materials, and supporting learners as they grow in confidence and competence.
You’ll focus mainly on:
* Epilepsy awareness, including trends, treatments, and emergency medication
* Gastrostomy feeding and medication administration
* Safe use of medicines
You’ll also have the chance to develop your knowledge across wider subjects such as diabetes, autism and anaphylaxis, with mentoring provided.
What You’ll Need
* A Registered Nurse, with experience supporting children or young people.
* Hands-on experience with epilepsy and gastrostomy care (essential).
* Confidence in delivering hands-on clinical care.
* Flexibility to travel (around 2 days per week, with occasional overnights).
* A collaborative, positive approach — someone who loves seeing others “get it.”
What’s on Offer
* Salary between £40,000–£45,000
* Option of a 4-day working week
* 2 days travel per week on average, mainly Midlands
* Around 2 overnight stays per month
* 50/50 split between in-person and online training
