£17 per hour plus £3 per hour night shift allowance
37 hour week with overtime available
About the Role
We are recruiting a CNC Turner Machinist on behalf of a high-performance engineering company based in Hemel Hempstead. This is a permanent night shift position working in a modern, well-organised manufacturing environment producing high-precision components.
This role would suit an experienced CNC Turner, CNC Machinist, Precision Machinist or Aerospace Machinist with a strong background in tight tolerance work who is looking for long-term stability.
What You’ll Do
• Set and operate CNC turning machines using Fanuc controls
• Produce high-precision components to detailed engineering drawings
• Work to very tight tolerances and quality standards
• Carry out tool changes and basic machine adjustments
• Inspect components using measuring equipment to ensure accuracy
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to meet deadlines
What We’re Looking For
• Proven experience in CNC Turning within aerospace or another high-precision engineering environment
• Apprenticeship trained or qualified by experience
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
• Experience working with Fanuc controls
• A reliable and detail-focused approach to work
Nice to Have
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM systems
• Experience in industries such as aerospace, automotive, defence, medical devices or precision manufacturing
