Salary: £22,681 plus benefits
We are delighted to be recruiting for a HR Support Assistant, which is a new vacancy within our People & Culture team. Reporting to the People Support Manager, you will play an important role within a busy and collaborative team. With excellent organisational skills, you will support the different functions of the team with a variety of HR tasks.
As a key member of our People and Culture Team, you will provide high quality and flexible administrative support for a wide range processes and projects. This will include working with colleagues across the team to support Recruitment, Learning and Development and a variety of other HR activities and processes.
Key duties:
1. Assist with the monitoring of the HR Services inbox to signpost managers and employees to appropriate policies and procedures or escalating/assigning to the relevant People and Culture Team member.
2. Maintain and update People HR with any employee data changes.
3. Facilitate the probation process for new employees.
4. Maintain electronic employee files in line with GDPR requirements as instructed.
5. Conduct the Right to Work and reference checks for new joiners.
6. Assist with maternity process.
7. Arrange and progress the PVG/DBS check process for employees and volunteers including Board Members.
8. Assist with pension monthly enrolment and payroll instruction checking.
9. Provide help with onboarding and induction of new starters.
10. Assist with traveller briefings and any other travel queries that sit with the People and Culture Team.
11. Assist as required with monthly People metrics reports and spreadsheet.
12. Provide administrative support to the wider People and Culture team to include the creation of team spreadsheets and arranging meetings.
13. Support the processing of purchase orders (POs) and invoices.
14. Support the L&D function and administer changes on their learning platforms.
15. Ongoing maintenance and updates of monthly organisation charts on SharePoint.
16. Support the recruitment process by posting adverts on internal and external sites and setting up interviews.
17. Provide timely recruitment administration support including managing system templates and acting as first point of contact for candidates.

23. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
24. Experience of data entry and basic reporting from HR information systems.
