You will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing product lines, solving complex engineering challenges, and ensuring products meet performance, cost, and quality expectations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support both current production and future innovations.
Your Key Responsibilities Include:
* Lead product design and development projects from concept to production.
* Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and R&D teams to ensure feasibility and manufacturability.
* Identify and implement product improvements related to performance, cost, and efficiency.
* Provide hands-on support to solve engineering challenges on the shop floor.
* Support testing, validation, and troubleshooting of components and assemblies.
* Ensure products meet all relevant regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
* Contribute to the development of technical documentation, specifications, and BOMs.
* Drive continuous improvement in product lifecycle processes.
What You'll Need:
* Proven experience in a Product Engineering or Design Engineering role within Manufacturing.
* Strong technical knowledge of mechanical design, materials, and manufacturing processes.
* Experience using CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
* A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
* Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
* A collaborative, hands-on approach with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
