Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4 PP QM Consultant with strong functional expertise in SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) to support large-scale SAP transformation and optimisation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep process knowledge across manufacturing and quality operations, along with hands-on SAP implementation and support experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support end-to-end SAP PP and QM implementations, rollouts, and enhancements
* Analyse business requirements and translate them into SAP functional solutions
* Configure SAP PP and QM modules based on business needs and best practices
* Drive process optimisation across manufacturing, production planning, quality inspection, and compliance workflows
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including MM, SD, WM/EWM, PM, and FI/CO
* Conduct gap analysis, functional design, testing, training, and user support
* Support integration with MES, shop floor systems, and third-party applications where applicable
* Troubleshoot production and quality-related SAP issues and provide sustainable solutions
* Prepare functional specifications and support technical development teams during enhancements
* Participate in stakeholder discussions, workshops, and solution reviews
Required Skills & Experience
* 10+ years of hands-on SAP PP and QM consulting experience
* Strong expertise in:
* Production Planning
* Demand Management
* MRP
* Production Orders
* Batch Management
* Quality Planning & Inspection
* Quality Notifications
* Process Manufacturing / Discrete Manufacturing
* Experience in at least 2–3 end-to-end SAP implementation projects
* Strong understanding of manufacturing and quality business processes
* Experience with SAP S/4HANA is preferred
* Knowledge of integration points with MM, SD, PM, and WM/EWM
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment
Preferred Qualifications
* SAP certification in PP and QM preferred
* Experience in automotive, industrial manufacturing, pharma, or FMCG industries is an advantage
* Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies is a plus
