HGV Class 2 Driver with Hiab
Location: High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire
Salary: £38,000 - £41,500pa + £125 per month performance-based bonus
About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver with Hiab to join a well-established roofing and building materials supplier. This is a full-time, permanent position based in High Wycombe.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Delivery and Collection: Safely transport roofing materials and related products to and from various sites, using both mechanical and manual loading/unloading methods.
2. Site Clearance: Remove second-hand materials and rubbish from customer sites as required.
3. Loading and Unloading: Handle the loading and unloading of vehicles, including customer and supplier deliveries.
4. Customer Interaction: Act professionally and assist customers with any enquiries.
5. Vehicle Maintenance: Carry out routine daily vehicle inspections and ensure that all statutory records are maintained.
6. Vehicle Presentation: Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and presentable at all times.
Working Hours:
7. Mon-Thurs: 07:30 - 16:30
8. Fri: 07:00 - 16:00
9. Saturdays: One Saturday on, one Saturday off – 07:30 - 10:30
Requirements:
10. Essential: HGV Class 2 Licence Valid Hiab Certification Previous experience with a Hook or Grab (preferred – minimum 1 year) Excellent communication and customer service skills Good understanding of health and safety regulations
11. Desirable: Experience in the roofing or construction industry Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
