We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic member ofour health and/or social care community to work at a system level to scopeopportunities, make recommendations and introduce change which will have ameaningful impact on the implementation of the Safe Learning EnvironmentCharter (SLEC) across the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire ICS.

This will be a chance to develop yourcommunication, engagement, leadership, and project management skills as youwork across an Integrated Care System, collaborating with colleagues acrosshealth and social care.


Main duties of the job

Scope system preparedness, mapping current compliance with SLEC across professions/organisations, and understanding action planning cycles

Scope SLEC plans and implementation within Derby and Derbyshire ICS and Lincolnshire ICS

Understand requirements for system assurance and make recommendation

Map out the current and potential SLEC engagement with pre-registration learners, and make recommendations

* Support organisations and teams who are in the early stages of implementing SLEC, signposting to resources

Liaise with local university partners to understand their engagement with SLEC


About us

he Nottinghamshire Alliance Training Hub (NATH) isa publicly funded organization that provides training, education, and development resources for the Primary Care workforce in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. Launched in 2020, NATH acts as a "go-to" hub for staff, supporting roles like GPs, nurses, pharmacists, and administrative staff through apprenticeships, student placements, and career


Job responsibilities

Scope system preparedness, mapping current compliance with SLEC across professions/organisations, and understanding action planning cycles

Scope SLEC plans and implementation within Derby and Derbyshire ICS and Lincolnshire ICS

Understand requirements for system assurance and make recommendation

Map out the current and potential SLEC engagement with pre-registration learners, and make recommendations

* Support organisations and teams who are in the early stages of implementing SLEC, signposting to resources

Liaise with local university partners to understand their engagement with SLEC

Identify/develop tools that support maturity matrix action planning and standardised reporting at system level, and can show progress within a maturity level

* Bring key stakeholders together to share good practice, learn from and develop existing programmes of work and collate themes and insights from colleagues and learners across organisations for each domain
* Evaluate lessons learnt and make recommendations for future ICS SLEC programmes of work (organisation and system level)

Maturity matrices and action plans for each organisation captured and shared at system level, with a plan for system level reporting and assurance mechanisms agreed, including incorporation of NETS

Tools to support the development and implementation of action plans developed and shared in a central repository

Resources/forums to support good practice developed and shared

Recommendations made on how to sustain the project achievements and to continue to evaluate the impact of SLEC

Post-registration learners

Professions outside AHPs, nursing, midwifery and pharmacy


Person Specification


Skills

* Demonstration of team working and ability to work within a multi-professional team
* Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills at all levels
* Produce timely, accurate written/electronic records, reports and documents
* Demonstrate IT skills including use of word, powerpoint and managing data using excel
* Recognition of own level of competence and limitations and able to communicate these to appropriate staff
* Can minimise interpersonal conflict and barriers to communication
* Demonstrate negotiation and influencing skills and ability to develop and maintain constructive relationships
* Experience of presenting complex information
* Proven knowledge of national and local practice learning agendas and practice
* Demonstrate evidence of providing formal teaching/training sessions


Experience

* Experience of working in health or social care settings
* Leads and acts as a role model in clinical practice
* Experience of leading and supervising others
* Experience of working with external agencies and influencing internal change
* Experience of working across organisational and professional boundaries in the development of health/social care services
* Recent or current experience within practice learning across different specialties
* Experience of leading clinical education or educational programmes


Qualifications

* Educated to degree level
* Demonstration of ongoing professional development
* Current NMC, HCPC or GPC professional registration
* Education/Teaching or Coaching qualification
* Service Improvement/Transformation methodology training
* Formal leadership and management training
