The position of Learning Support Assistant - Full Time (ALS) involves enabling students to access the curriculum as fully as possible, supporting them to work towards their desired outcomes, achieving their learning goals and potential.
This contract offers full-time hours working 08:30 - 17:00 Monday - Thursday and 08:30 - 16:30 Fridays at our Slough and Langley College campus. You will be expected to work 37 term-time weeks per year. The salary range for these roles is £20,015.81 - £22,246.80 per year (£24,098 - £26,784 FTE) depending on qualifications and experience.
Working under the direction and supervision of the Curriculum Director, Programme Manager and Lecturers to assist with teaching, learning and associated activities in accordance with college policies, procedures and individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP).This may include supporting whole classes; working with individuals and small groups of learners; assisting with planning, delivery, and evaluation of learning activities; working closely with pastoral and welfare staff in supporting students to overcome learning, physical or emotiona...
