GSL Education are seeking a dedicated RE Teacher to work in schools across Sheffield (S5, S9), delivering inspiring lessons that encourage pupils to think critically and reflect on the world around them. As a Religious Education (RE) Teacher, you will create engaging and inclusive lessons covering a range of religions, philosophies, and ethical issues, helping pupils develop respect, understanding, and open-mindedness. Main Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality Religious Education lessons as an RE Teacher. Encourage critical thinking, discussion, and reflection on moral and ethical topics. Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback. Work collaboratively with colleagues to enrich the curriculum. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience teaching Religious Education in a school setting. Strong classroom management and communication skills. An inclusive, patient, and engaging approach to teaching. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one. What’s in It for You?
