Ashberry Recruitment are recruiting for a Temporary Scheme Manager for a Housing Association based in Manchester.
As Scheme Manager you will be responsible for the following:
* Daily management of a sheltered housing scheme.
* Ensuring the delivery of a high service to tenants at all times.
* Carry out morning calls to tenants ensuring their health, safety and well-being
* Dealing with any tenancy related issues including the reporting of any repairs, housing benefits and rents.
* Managing a small repairs budget, keeping a recording of expenses.
* Liaising with external agencies to access relevant services depending on support needs.
* Developing and maintaining support plans.
* Ensuring the residents remain active and participate in onsite social activities such as coffee mornings, bingo, trips out etc.
* Health, safety and maintenance of the building.
* Keeping daily diary and accurate records.
This is an exciting role, requiring a good mix of skills and experience, candidates wishing to apply for the role of Scheme Manager should be able to demonstrate the following:
* Previous experience of working within sheltered housing and providing tenancy related support.
* Experience of working with older people
* Enhanced DBS issued within the last 12 months.
* Drives and has full access to own vehicle
