Job Title: SEMH Teacher Location: Sheffield (S5) Salary: Up to £220 Per day Contract Type: Full time, long-term / Day-to-day Start Date: Immediately Are you a passionate SEMH Teacher looking to make a difference in students’ lives? A local school in Sheffield is seeking a dedicated professional to provide high-quality support, deliver engaging lessons, and promote both academic and emotional development for students with SEMH needs. About the Role: As a SEMH Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons and interventions to support students’ learning and personal development. You will provide a positive, structured classroom environment and work closely with colleagues to ensure students’ holistic progress. Responsibilities: Implement personalised lesson plans and interventions tailored to the unique needs of each student, fostering independence and growth. Create a supportive and inclusive environment that builds trust and rapport with students. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including teachers, support staff, and leaders, to provide comprehensive student support. Maintain accurate records of student progress, behaviour, and engagement. Support students in accessing the curriculum and achieving their academic and personal goals. Promote positive behaviour strategies and emotional regulation within the classroom. Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience is preferred. Previous experience supporting students with SEMH needs is advantageous. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and colleagues. Ability to adapt lessons and strategies to meet the dynamic needs of learners. Compassionate, patient, and committed to supporting students’ holistic development.
