A day in the life of a Murphy Civil/ Structural Project Engineer
Responsibilities
* Provide expertise in Civil / Structural elements within Gas industry projects
* Leading Civil / Structural aspects of multi-discipline projects from concept through to completion
* Assist with the development of the Civil / structural work scope, delivery strategy and programme
* Assist with the development and review of Civil / Structural designs in accordance with project programme.
* Management of installation and Inspection / Testing requirements
* Able to challenge technical specifications.
* Development and management of Inspection and Testing documentation
* Co-ordination of key stakeholders to achieve a successful delivery of various projects
* Attend and lead discipline specific meetings with key stakeholders and sub-contractors
* Collaborate with the supply chain partners’ requirements and incorporate into the project programme
Qualifications
* Good knowledge of Civil, Structures, and Structural Steelwork.
* Good knowledge of design, process safety, and procurement.
* Ability to manage and coordinate Civil / Structural aspects of large EPC projects.
* Preferably relevant Engineering degree qualified, minimum HNC.
