Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
3. Conduct thorough inspections of materials and products to ensure compliance with specifications.
4. Review and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
5. Utilise measuring equipment and tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
6. Document and report any quality issues or non-conformities identified during inspections.
7. Assist in root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective actions to improve processes.
8. Support audits and contribute to maintaining quality management systems.
9. Collaborate with the engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure quality standards are upheld.
10. Provide feedback on quality improvements to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Quality Inspector should have:
11. A strong background in quality assurance within the industrial/manufacturing industry.
12. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
13. Experience with measurement tools and equipment, such as callipers and micrometres.
14. Knowledge of quality standards and quality management systems.
15. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
16. A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
