About the Role
As a Human Resources Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the HR department by performing administrative tasks and working on ad hoc projects, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently.
The successful applicant must be a true project manager at heart, with the ability to plan, coordinate, and execute large-scale events. A strong sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize simultaneous tasks and projects is needed.
The ability to work from the Nottingham office 3 days per week is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Provide general admin support to a remote team
- Monitor and maintain equipment and supplies with a strong sense of budget management and procurement
- Manage employee on-boarding and off-boarding
- Support the firm's HR operations with ongoing projects and processes
- Lead employee experience initiatives by planning, managing, and executing global happy hours, company events, and holiday celebrations
- Serve as the focal point for peer related HR needs
- Coordinate travel arrangements (flights, hotels, ad hoc assistance) to employees and firm visitors
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong technical skills with an aptitude for learning new systems
- Proficient in HRIS Systems (Paylocity, Workday)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Personable, empathetic personality
- Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written
- Organized, self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Solid MS Office skills
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Financial services experience in an operations/HR capacity within a global firm is a plus
