Overview
Art Teacher Required. Salary/Rate: £150-£200 per day depending on experience. Exclusive Education are looking to appoint an Art Teacher to work in a Secondary School in St Helens. The role is to start end of ASAP, 1-2 days a week. They are looking for an Art Teacher to take over the class and demonstrate outstanding teaching, in a friendly, lively and vibrant school.
Responsibilities
* Take over designated Art classes and deliver engaging lessons.
* Demonstrate outstanding teaching and strong behaviour management strategies within school policies.
* Collaborate with school staff to support pupil progress across KS3, KS4 and KS5 where applicable.
Qualifications
* Hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE, B.Ed. or a BA Hons.
* Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
* Have previous experience of working with children.
* Have good knowledge of the full Art curriculum.
* Previous KS3, KS4 and KS5 teaching experience.
* Experience of delivering engaging lessons in the Art curriculum.
* Two references working with children covering the last 2 years.
* Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
