Overview
Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council, Blossomfield Infant and Nursery School are looking for a School Administrator to support the Governors and Headteacher.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, forward-thinking, well-motivated School Administrator to join our supportive team. As our School Administrator, you will be expected to provide a confidential and efficient, high quality support, ensuring smooth and efficient administrative functions. Maintain student records for example admissions and attendance using the school's MIS system – SIMS. You will be an excellent communicator, who is able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills. A background in education or a related field is desirable.
Responsibilities
* Provide confidential and efficient administrative support to the Governors and Headteacher to ensure smooth operations.
* Maintain student records (admissions and attendance) using the SIMS MIS system.
* Communicate effectively with staff, students, and other stakeholders; demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
Qualifications / Requirements
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Background in education or a related field is desirable.
* Highly developed leadership skills and the ability to inspire others.
* Ability to take ownership of work, use initiative, manage a wide range of stakeholders, multitask, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
