Pyramid8 is delighted to be supporting a non-for-profit organisation based in Pontefract. The nursery strives to put the wellbeing of their employees at the heart of what they do. As a Nursery Nure, you will be responsible for:
* Contributing to the planning of a program of activities in your designated area.
* Working alongside parents to ensure full integration within the nursery, tailored to the child's needs.
* Supporting all staff and engaging positively within a team.
* Supporting volunteers in the setting and encouraging their professional development.
* Liaising with and supporting parents and other family members.
* Being flexible within nursery working practices, including undertaking domestic tasks such as snack preparation and equipment cleaning.
* Collaborating with the manager and staff team to uphold the nursery's philosophy.
* Considering the nursery as a whole, being aware of the needs of all children.
* Developing reflective practice and being open to personal and professional growth.
* Providing a high-quality environment that meets the needs of children from diverse cultures, religious backgrounds, and developmental stages.
* Ensuring mealtimes are pleasant social occasions that cater to individual needs.
* Upholding the nursery's high standards at all times.
Experience needed:
* Level 3 qualification in a recognised childcare field, deemed relevant by the DFE and Ofsted.
* GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent.
* Basic food hygiene certification.
* Paediatric first aid certification.
* Level 1 safeguarding qualification.
In return, you will receive an hourly rate of £13.18, working Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week. The latest finish time is 4pm or 5pm, with an earliest start of 8am.
