About the Role
As a Nursing Home Manager / Care Home Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring the delivery of safe, person-centred, high-quality care. You’ll use your leadership and turnaround expertise to improve standards, develop CQC reports, and guide your team to deliver an outstanding resident experience.

Key Responsibilities
Provide strong, visible leadership as the Nursing Home Manager / Care Home Manager, promoting a culture of quality and compassion.
Lead and deliver effective turnaround strategies to move services from Requires Improvement to Good or Outstanding.
Develop, write, and submit high-quality CQC reports and action plans.
Manage budgets, staffing, compliance, and operational excellence as a proactive Nursing Home Manager / Care Home Manager.
Build strong relationships with residents, families, regulators, and community partners.
Drive occupancy, customer satisfaction, and continuous service improvement.
About You
Proven experience as a Nursing Home Manager / Care Home Manager within elderly or nursing care settings.
Successful track record of turning around homes and improving CQC ratings.
Strong knowledge of CQC compliance, governance, and quality assurance frameworks.
Skilled in developing CQC documentation, audits, and improvement plans.
Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring abilities.
Nurse qualification (RGN/RMN/RNLD) preferred but not essential for the right Nursing Home Manager / Care Home Manager.
