We are seeking a dedicated Paediatric Nurse to join our childrens outpatient team. You will deliver high-quality, child-centred care, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs across a range of conditions. Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, you will support clinics, provide treatments, and offer education and reassurance to children and their families. You will maintain accurate documentation, uphold safeguarding responsibilities, and ensure compliance with infection control standards, while contributing to an efficient, supportive, and continuously improving outpatient service.
Main duties of the job
* Deliver high-quality, child-centred nursing care in outpatient clinics
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual care needs
* Support and run nurse-led or multidisciplinary clinics
* Administer treatments, medications, and clinical procedures safely
* Monitor and record clinical observations and escalated concerns
* Provide health education and reassurance to children and families
* Maintain accurate, timely patient records and documentation
* Adhere to safeguarding, infection control, and clinical governance standards
* Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team
* Contribute to service improvement and efficient clinic flow
