Bilfinger UK are looking for a Temporary Works Engineer to be based on site at HPC on a permanent basis
* Coordinate and supervise all types of temporary works in line with Bilfinger’s Temporary works procedures, ensuring safe erection, use, maintenance and dismantling of temporary work.
* Delegate and organise tasks to align with the temporary works schedule.
* Engage with the client and contractors to ensure the temporary works are designed, checked and implemented on site in accordance with relevant drawings, specifications and safety standards.
* Manage and monitor all temporary works to ensure delivery in line with Bilfinger UK HSEQ policy.
* Prepare, maintain and regularly review the Temporary Works register to ensure all temporary works and the assigned level of risk is included.
* Ensure any proposed changes in material or construction are assessed and any agreed changes/corrections are carried out.
* Work closely with the Site Engineering and Installation team.
* Propose technical solutions to support installation and the supporting temporary works.
* Design safe, compliant and cost‑effective solutions.
* Submit material needs to procurement and logistics in a timely manner.
* Ensure compliance with UK construction codes and standards.
* Coordinate with multi‑location and multi‑national teams.
* Provide input into Risk assessments and Method statements.
* Monday to Friday.
* 38 hours a week.
* Based on site at HPC full time.
