Solicitor – Catastrophic Injury (3–7 PQE)

Harkaye Core Talent is partnering with a leading UK law firm seeking a Solicitor to join their Catastrophic Injury team in Cambridge.
This is an opportunity to work on high-value, complex injury claims, supporting individuals and families whose lives have been significantly impacted by serious injury.
You will be joining a specialist litigation team with an excellent reputation for handling complex matters including brain injuries, spinal cord injuries and other life-changing injuries.
The Role
You will assist in managing a caseload of complex claimant personal injury matters, working closely with senior lawyers on high-value and technically challenging cases.
Your work will involve:
* Supporting on high-value catastrophic injury claims
* Assisting with cases involving brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputations and severe orthopaedic trauma
* Managing aspects of litigation including liability investigations, evidence gathering and case strategy
* Liaising with medical experts, rehabilitation teams and case managers
* Supporting clients and their families throughout the litigation process
* Drafting witness statements, schedules of loss and court documents
* Attending conferences with counsel and settlement meetings
* Managing your own caseload of smaller matters where appropriate
About You
We are looking for a solicitor who:
* Has 3–7 years PQE
* Has experience in serious injury or claimant personal injury litigation
* Demonstrates strong technical and analytical skills
* Has the ability to handle sensitive client relationships with empathy and professionalism
* Is highly organised and able to manage competing priorities
* Enjoys working as part of a collaborative team
Experience working on catastrophic or high-value injury claims would be particularly beneficial.
