We are seeking a motivated and experienced clinician with a specialist interest in Prostate Cancer. The successful candidate will work closely with a team of established consultants including Drs Stephen Morris, Gurdip Azad, Van Ren Sim, Ajay Aggarwal, Vinod Mullassery, Kirsty Morrison, Simon Hughes and Sindu Vivekanandan. The service is led by Dr Hartmut Kristeleit, Clinical Director for Oncology, and Dr Ben Taylor, Deputy Clinical Director for Clinical Oncology.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical oncology services to the GSTFT Cancer Centre and South East London Cancer Network.
- Support the Prostate Oncology Services at GSTT and KCH.
- Participate in research activities and clinical trials as required.
- Participate in clinical and other service activities to ensure a high standard of patient care.
- Take an active part in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and training.
- Contribute to the management of the clinical service and service development.
Qualifications
- Fully registered with the GMC/GDC, hold a Licence to Practice, and be listed on the Specialist Register with CCT in Oncology – or within 6 months of attaining CCT by the date of interview.
- FRCR or equivalent Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (or equivalent).
- Broad experience in Clinical Oncology, including systemic anti-cancer therapy, radiotherapy, and Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT).
- A research degree is highly desirable.
£113,565 to £150,569 a year per annum excl. London Zone (Pro rata).
