At Fine Lady Bakeries, we are passionate about producing high-quality bakery products and maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and compliance. We are now looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Technical Quality Administrator to join our Technical team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and wants to play an important role in supporting quality and technical operations across the business.
The Role
The Technical Quality Administrator will provide structured administrative and compliance support to the Technical and Quality teams, helping to ensure that all quality documentation, traceability records, compliance systems, reporting activities, and customer complaint administration are completed accurately and efficiently.
The role will play a key part in:
* Supporting audit readiness and compliance standards
* Maintaining accurate quality and technical documentation
* Managing specification and reporting systems
* Supporting customer complaint investigations and responses
* Improving paperwork compliance and traceability controls
* Providing continuity of QA and QC administration support across shifts
Key Responsibilities
* Review day and night shift QC paperwork for accuracy and compliance
* Identify and escalate discrepancies or non-conformances
* Maintain organised electronic and paper-based filing systems
* Manage technical and quality documentation, specifications, and records
* Support customer complaint administration and response processes
* Maintain QC reporting systems and technical databases
* Prepare KPI, compliance, and quality reports
* Support microbiological and environmental monitoring administration
* Assist with shelf-life monitoring and product investigations
* Support internal and external audit preparation
* Liaise with Production, QA, QC, NPD, and wider business teams
What We Are Looking For
* Previous experience within an administrative, manufacturing, technical, or process-driven environment
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
* Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to work independently and follow structured processes
* Experience within food manufacturing or FMCG
* Understanding of food safety, quality systems, or compliance standards such as BRC, GMP, or HACCP
* Experience working with specifications, technical documentation, or reporting systems
