Responsibilities
* Support colleagues across Public Health and Prevention to plan, deliver and monitor the implementation of projects to ensure programmes deliver better health outcomes for Staffordshire residents.
* Influence, support and collaborate with a range of stakeholders, such as GPs, Integrated Care Boards, Primary Care Networks, Pharmacists, providers and the public.
* Support the team with financial payments using the My Finance system, including processing invoices and answering related finance queries.
* Support with performance management of contracted service providers to help ensure value for money principles are embedded into work practices.
* Report to a Senior Commissioning Manager and provide effective GP engagement to meet prevention programme priorities.
You will need to meet the travel requirements of the role. This is mainly locally (Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent) but there may be a need to travel regionally and nationally on occasion.
Experience and Skills
* Excellent Communication Skills - Experience of working with internal and external stakeholders, with excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong working relationships.
* Organisation - Good organisation skills, with the ability to work under pressure and on own initiative.
* Passionate - Passionate about improving public health and reducing health inequalities and committed to community engagement and co-production.
