PE Global is currently recruiting for an experienced HR Partner to join our leading global manufacturing client based in Desford, Leicestershire. The role is an initial 12-month contract and is fully site-based, working 5 days per week. Key Responsibilities
* Partner with operational leaders to support their people management agenda, acting as a trusted advisor on HR policies, employment legislation, and employee relations matters.
* Manage complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, and absence management processes, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
* Oversee HR systems, including Workday, ensuring data integrity, timely approvals, and effective people data management.
* Analyse HR metrics and trends to provide data-driven recommendations on retention, turnover, workforce planning, and training needs.
* Lead strategic workforce planning activities, including succession planning and talent development initiatives.
* Coach and develop leaders on people management processes, policies, and leader-led resolution approaches.
* Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation, including Trade Union representatives.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives across HR operations, policies, and processes.
* Contribute to wider HR projects and strategic initiatives within the Building Construction Products division.
Requirements
* Proven HR generalist or HR Business Partner experience within an operational, manufacturing, engineering, FMCG, retail, aerospace, rail, or similar environment.
* Strong employee relations experience, including disciplinary, grievance, and absence management cases.
* Experience working with Trade Unions and a solid understanding of employment legislation and labour relations.
* Strong analytical skills with experience producing reports, analysing trends, and using data to support decision-making.
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data manipulation, reporting, and analysis.
* Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
* Experience coaching and supporting managers on HR policies, procedures, and people-related matters.
* Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Experience
* CIPD qualification or equivalent HR certification.
* Experience using Workday or a similar HRIS platform.
* Knowledge of Power BI and/or Power Apps.
* Experience leading HR projects and driving process improvements.
* Previous experience working within a unionised manufacturing or operational environment.

* Working Hours: Monday–Thursday 08:00–16:30, Friday 08:00–14:00
