The Role:
As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure smooth day-to-day kitchen operations while maintaining high standards of food quality and service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Head Chef in running a high-volume kitchen
* Lead service and take charge in the Head Chef’s absence
* Oversee food preparation and ensure consistent quality
* Train, mentor, and develop junior chefs
* Maintain high standards of hygiene, health & safety, and cleanliness
* Contribute to a positive and efficient kitchen culture
About You:
* Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef
* Confident leading a team in a fast-paced environment
* Calm, organised, and reliable under pressure
* Passionate about fresh, seasonal, locally sourced food
* Strong team player with a positive attitude
* Flexible with working hours and shifts
