We are looking for an experienced Senior Barista to join our team. This role is central to delivering outstanding service, leading by example, and ensuring the smooth daily operation of the cafe/events trailer.
Key Responsibilities
* Customer Service: Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service to every customer.
* Coffee & Drinks: Prepare and serve a wide variety of high-quality coffees, teas, and specialty beverages.
* Food Preparation: Cook and serve items from our brunch menu to a consistent standard.
* Transactions: Handle payments (cash and card) with accuracy and efficiency.
* Daily Operations: Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and packing down the cafe/events trailer.
* Cleaning & Maintenance: Complete daily and weekly cleaning tasks as part of our rota to maintain a safe, hygienic environment.
* Team Leadership: Guide and support junior team members, offering training, feedback, and encouragement.
* Standards & Compliance: Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards are upheld.
About You:
* Previous experience as a barista (senior or leadership experience preferred).
* Skilled and confident in coffee preparation
* Comfortable with basic food preparation and cooking in a cafe setting.
* Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
* Reliable, organised, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
* A positive attitude with a passion for hospitality and customer care.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 6.25 – 13.5 per week
