Our client is embarking on a significant transformation, transitioning several of its companies from SAP ECC Bridge to SAP S/4 HANA. With a Go-Live date set for April 1st, 2026, this program is being delivered following a core model solution, and will also incorporate several SAP satellite/bolt-on solutions.
We are seeking an experienced SAP Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide hands-on support throughout this journey. This temporary role will be instrumental in ensuring knowledge transfer, supporting Key Users (KUs), and guiding successful migration, validation, and testing activities.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a functional SME, supporting both the Project Coordinator and SAP Key Users.
Provide expertise in PP (Production Planning) and MM (Materials Management) modules.
Support manual entry and validation of SAP VC (Variant Configurator) data, BOM IDs, dependencies, and pricing.
Guide and assist in the transition from one plant structure to four plants.
Support data migration activities from SAP Bridge to S/4 HANA tables in preparation for upcoming migration phases.
Assist in validation, dry migration, UAT testing, and training activities.
Serve as a practical, go-to resource for SAP users of varying skill levels.Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience as an SAP SME with strong knowledge of SAP Bridge and S/4 HANA.
Strong hands-on expertise in PP and MM modules; experience with Variant Configurator (VC) highly desirable.
Experience with data migration activities in SAP environments.
Familiarity with plant structure changes within SAP.
Strong background in supporting UAT, training, and end-user guidance.
Ability to work collaboratively with project coordinators, KUs, and business teams.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Project Timeline
Now - Q3 2025: Validation & dry migration (test area).
Q4 2025 - Q1 2026: UATs (Oct 2025 - Feb 2026).
