Overview
TSM Technical is working in partnership with a leading name in the door systems industry to recruit an experienced Service Engineer for the Midlands region.

Territory Coverage
This is a field-based role covering:
Core Areas: Leicester (LE), Peterborough (PE), Coventry (CV), Northampton (NN), Milton Keynes (MK), Hitchin (SG), Luton (LU)
Occasional Travel: Nottingham (NG), Derby (DE), Birmingham (B)
What Youll Be Doing
* Install, service, and maintain automatic doors, industrial doors, and shutters
* Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs
* Complete all job documentation via tablet (iPad provided)
* Participate in an on-call rota (1 in 5/6 weeks) with standby & call-out pay
* Maintain excellent customer relationships on-site
* Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with compliance standards
What Were Looking For
Essential:
* Minimum of 2 years experience as an automatic door engineer.
* EN16005 or BS7036 qualified (or willing to obtain)
* Confident with diagnostics and mechanical/electrical systems
* Full UK driving licence
* IT literate comfortable using tablets and basic software
Desirable:
* Experience with industrial doors (desirable)
* IPAF, PASMA or CSCS cards
* Experience with shutters, sectional doors, or fire doors
* Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Whats On Offer
Pay & Hours:
* Basic Salary: Up to £43,000 per annum (based on hourly rate)
* OTE: £60,000+ achievable with overtime, on-call, and bonuses
* Hours: Paid door-to-door
* Overtime: Time and a half, double time on Sundays/bank holidays
On-Call Details:
* 1 in 5 or 6 weeks
* £175 per week standby pay
* Additional £50 if attending 4 jobs during standby
* £50 bonus for midnight callouts + 11 hours rest paid the next day
