This role is service and repair only – no installations required. The position will involve working on both stairlifts and through-the-floor home lifts, covering a localised patch across Southeast England. Commutable from: Brighton, Eastbourne, Crawley, Hastings, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Worthing, Horsham, Burgess Hill. Crowborough Mobility Engineer Responsibilities: * Service and repair of straight and curved stairlifts from multiple manufacturers * Service and repair of through-the-floor home lifts * Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown visits * Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and safely * Deliver high levels of customer service at all times * Complete accurate service records and adhere to safety standards * Attend occasional call-outs (approx. 1 every 3 weeks) The Ideal Mobility Engineer: * Minimum 2 years’ experience working on mobility equipment – ESSENTIAL * Strong mechanical and electrical skill set – ESSENTIAL * Electrical qualifications – ESSENTIAL * Experience installing stairlifts or home lifts – DESIRABLE * Experience with through-the-floor lifts, platform lifts, hoists or similar – DESIRABLE * NVQ Level 2 in Stairlift Engineering – DESIRABLE * CSCS and/or SSSTS – DESIRABLE * Full UK Driving Licence – ESSENTIAL Manufacturer experience beneficial: Stannah, Meditek, Minivator, Handicare, Freeway, Acorn, Bison, Wessex, Terry’s, Pollock, Chiltern, Robin, OT200, Guldmann Apply for this role: 1.
