The Senior Cabinetmaker will be responsible for crafting, assembling and repairing wooden cabinets and other store fixtures:
* Read and interpret shop drawings.
* Construct custom cabinetry with accuracy, ensuring products meet design specifications and quality control standards.
* Set up and operate woodworking machinery, including table saws, shapers, molders, planers, jointers, sanders, etc.
* Fit and assemble components to ensure product meets quality and customer standards.
* Attach fittings and other components to assembled cabinetry, ensuring components are to shop drawing specifications and operable.
* Prepare product for finishing.
* Operate and maintain tools and equipment.
* Mentor junior cabinetmakers and assemblers to elevate their skill level.
* Work collaboratively with Shop Forman and project team to ensure project delays and setbacks are clearly communicated early on, identify ways to improve project efficiency and to ensure project deadlines are met.
THE SKILLSET:
* Able to lift, carry, push and or pull objects weighing up to 50lbs.
* Sound knowledge of shop drawings and interpretation.
* Proven experience using woodworking machinery and hand tools.
* Proven ability to build high end custom retail fixtures.
* Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
* Ability to work well as a team member.
* High level of attendance.
* Self-directed.
* Day Shift – 7:00a.m. to 3:30p.m.
