Responsibilities
* Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a pharmacist while ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal and professional standards.
* Provide knowledgeable and courteous support to patients, answering questions and advising on the use of prescription and over-the-counter medications.
* Manage inventory levels, ensuring the availability of required medications and supplies.
* Assist in the training and development of pharmacy staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient working atmosphere.
* Maintain meticulous records of patient information and medication histories to support excellent patient care.
Qualifications
* Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) is essential.
* Prior experience in an NHS or hospital pharmacy environment within the UK is highly desirable.
* Possession of an NVQ or equivalent qualification in Pharmacy Technician training will be advantageous.
