Health & Safety Advisor – Salary: £40,000-£45,000 (negotiable). Location: Wellingborough. Full‑time. Permanent.
We are a global engineering company that supplies utilities and construction services. Our site employs around 40 staff in the Wellingborough area.

Responsibilities
* Support and advise on all health & safety matters across the site.
* Assist the plant manager with duties as required.
* Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
* Ensure safe operation and compliance around plant, equipment, and machinery.
* Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
* Work closely with operational teams to drive a positive safety culture.
* Maintain and update H&S documentation and policies.
Qualifications
* NEBOSH Level 3 (or above).
* Experience in a health & safety role within construction, manufacturing, heavy engineering or a similar environment.
* Strong understanding of plant operations and associated risks.
* Confident communicator who can influence and engage teams at all levels.
* Hands‑on, visible on site, and solutions‑focused.
