The Information Governance Team is looking to recruit to a two-year fixed term post within the team, focussed on supporting the rights of children, adults and their families under UK GDPR (UK General Data Protection Regulation) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
This role offers valuable experience in core public sector services and supports career growth. Successful candidates will receive targeted training in all supported information governance activities.
Experience in information governance and data management principles is required, along with knowledge of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. The ideal candidate can build rapport, communicate well with requesters, meet deadlines, work systematically, and handle highly sensitive data.
Responsibilities
* Case management and completion of Subject Access Requests (SARs) within statutory timescales.
* Coordinating responses to Freedom of Information (FOI) requests and ensuring statutory timescales are met.
* Assisting with requests to exercise other individual rights on personal data.
* Supporting security incident investigations.
* Assisting with development of information governance policies, procedures, information sharing agreements and privacy notices.
* Various administration tasks dependant on the demands of the services.
Although the posts are based at County Hall, Matlock, we have hybrid working arrangements, which means there are opportunities to work from home, subject to business need, and once fully trained. Flexible or part time working patterns can be considered.
