Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud & GRC Architect to play a pivotal role in designing and delivering secure, compliant, and scalable architectures across cloud and on-premise environments. This role combines deep technical knowledge with expertise in governance, risk, and compliance, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements while enabling innovation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with GRC tools like MetricStream, a strong understanding of regulatory landscapes, and proven experience integrating cloud and on-premise systems in regulated industries.
Responsibilities
* Define, design, and review architecture solutions for cloud (AWS, Azure) and on-prem platforms, ensuring integration with enterprise services.
* Apply architecture frameworks (eg, TOGAF) to produce consistent and strategic architectural deliverables.
* Implement and maintain governance models leveraging GRC tools such as MetricStream.
* Align enterprise solutions with regulatory requirements including DORA, SOX, HIPAA, and CSRD.
* Embed risk management practices into architectural decisions.
* Oversee the delivery of architecture solutions, ensuring compliance, scalability, and resilience.
* Support teams in integrating cloud and on-prem systems, enabling seamless operations across platforms.
* Act as a key liaison between technical teams, risk/compliance functions, and senior leadership.
* Communicate complex architectural and compliance requirements in clear, actionable terms.
* Stay current with regulatory changes, emerging compliance frameworks, and new cloud technologies.
* Propose and implement improvements that strengthen compliance while optimizing performance and cost.
* Provide technical guidance to teams on GRC integration and cloud/on-prem architecture.
* Contribute to documentation, knowledge transfer, and training to strengthen organizational capability.
Qualifications & Skills
* GRC: Strong hands-on experience with GRC tools and technologies, such as MetricStream, to ensure compliance and risk management.
* Operational Risk: Deep understanding of operational risk practices in complex, multi-national B2B environments, ideally within financial services or other highly regulated industries.
* Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with global regulations and standards including DORA, SOX, HIPAA, CSRD, and the ability to align architectures with compliance needs.
* Architecture Expertise: Strong foundation in enterprise architecture frameworks (eg, TOGAF) with proven experience in solution design and system/data integration.
* Cloud & On-Prem Architecture: Demonstrated experience in AWS, Azure, and on-prem platforms, including integration with key enterprise services.
* Communication & Stakeholder Management: Excellent ability to engage with stakeholders across technical teams and leadership, ensuring alignment and clarity.
* Desirable Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to balance compliance with innovation.
* Ability to design and deliver enterprise-scale solutions with a focus on security, compliance, and resilience.
* Experience presenting and defending architectural approaches to senior stakeholders and regulators.
* Collaborative mindset with the ability to guide cross-functional teams.
