🔧 The Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Pump Engineer to join a growing business specialising in wastewater treatment and drainage solutions. This is a varied and rewarding role covering the installation, maintenance, and repair of pump systems and treatment plants across residential and commercial properties.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
* Service and repair wastewater treatment plants and pump stations
* Install, commission, and maintain pumps, blowers, and associated systems
* Conduct compliance surveys of septic tanks in line with current regulations
* Diagnose and resolve drainage faults on site
* Deliver high-quality, professional service independently or as part of a team
* Communicate clearly with customers, providing updates and support
✅ What We’re Looking For
* Background in pump systems, drainage, or wastewater treatment
* Confident in pump installation and mechanical repair
* Familiarity with septic systems and drainage regulations
* Full UK driving licence
* Willingness to work flexibly, including occasional emergency call-outs
⭐ Desirable (not essential)
* Electrical qualifications (e.g. 17th/18th Edition, NICEIC)
* CSCS card and/or confined space training
* Understanding of pump control panels and telemetry systems
