Reed, on behalf of United Utilities are recruiting for a client facing Customer Service Technician to work on the reactive maintenance team in and around the Davyhulme region.

Location: In and around the Davyhulme Waste Water Treatment Works, Trafford Way, Manchester M17 8DD.
Hours per week 37
Shift patterns- 08.00-18.00 OR 12.00 -22.00
Hourly pay: £24.75 per hour paid weekly
Contract: 6 months rolling
Job Purpose
To take ownership of customer related wastewater issues.
To be seen as the Customer Champion, responding on a reactive, proactive, and planned basis to meet the customer needs and demands.
To be seen as the face of United Utilities in the field, and will be key in delivering first time resolution and providing excellent customer service.
To collect essential regulatory data
Job description:
Visiting, with a hands-on labourer to visit clients’ sites which are experiencing issues with their home/office/building utilities.
You will be the person who is client facing, dealing with the paperwork and reporting side of things with the labourer doing the "hands on" part.
Issues will be things like water leak, plumbing issues as well as other queries relating to the water.
You will need to be flexible in terms of working shift patterns, hold a driver’s licence and have a calm but professional approach with the UU clients.
