We’re looking for a Payroll Systems Manager to join us at our Shared Service Centre in Bradford. This is a hybrid role with 2 days working from the office.
This is an exciting opportunity for a payroll systems specialist to lead the payroll system support team on the successful delivery and ongoing support of UK payrolls across our payroll systems platforms, with a focus on our Oracle EBS and Fusion platforms. You will be supporting the following areas of our business: Virgin Media/O2, Virgin Media Ireland, Liberty Financial Services, and Liberty Central.
The role involves working with Payroll Managers, Oracle ERP Managers, the wider payroll teams, and the broader business to provide comprehensive support and timely resolution of pay system queries, cyclical projects, and ad-hoc change requests across the supported businesses within the Liberty Global Shared Services Centre.
Sitting within the People Systems Team, you will lead a team of system specialists in managing payroll incidents, defining customer requirements, and ensuring the change governance process is followed for any system, process, or project activity.
What will you be doing?
1. Managing the payroll systems team to ensure BAU incidents are resolved timely and effectively, maintaining service levels.
2. Responding to specialist payroll systems queries and data issues, working closely with People Services and Oracle ERP teams to prioritize system enhancements and resolve issues.
3. Reviewing business requirement documents and solution design documents to ensure they meet customer needs, collaborating with ERP teams.
4. Managing cyclical projects impacting payroll systems, including test script reviews, resource planning, and user acceptance testing.
5. Overseeing the delivery of ad-hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Providing guidance on payroll implementations and supporting existing and new payroll systems.
7. Offering expertise on Oracle Fusion, Oracle EBS modules, and other HR systems.
We tend to look for people with:
* Experience in a similar system support, analyst role, or operational payroll role.
* End-to-end payroll processing experience.
* Knowledge of Workday and Oracle ERP modules.
* Management experience.
* Ability to manage conflicting priorities.
* Strong attention to detail, stakeholder management, and customer service skills.
* Experience with payroll implementation projects.
* Experience working with large data populations.
