Role Overview
As a Customer Service Support Officer (internally known as Technical Support Officer) you will support the Audit Services team in completing desktop assessments of registered customers’ accreditation documentation and provide technical support via phone and email, ensuring a first‑class customer experience.
Key details: Department: Customer Support | Employment Type: Permanent | Location: Cardiff, UK | Reporting to: Technical Team Manager | Compensation: £25,752 yearly.
Responsibilities
* Complete pre‑audit checks on customer information to ensure a minimum standard before the audit.
* Work through a number of pre‑audit checks of customer information to collate all required documentation.
* Provide feedback to customers and collate any missing information for the pre‑audit checks.
* Support customers with areas of improvement where more information is needed to pass the audit and become accredited.
* Provide health and safety advice and guidance to customers (full training provided).
Qualifications & Skills
Customer service, administrative experience and strong attention to detail are essential. You will liaise with customers and verify documentation ahead of the audit cycle, consistently applying quality processes and standards and identifying discrepancies. You must handle customer enquiries via telephone and email and demonstrate good written English. Teamworking ability is important, as is the ability to work towards a common objective with peers. Prior experience or interest in health and safety or compliance is a plus but not mandatory.
