The Role
We are looking for a qualified BOHS P401 Asbestos Bulk Analyst to join our growing team. You will play a key role in supporting the laboratory’s daily operations, ensuring accurate analysis and reporting of bulk asbestos samples in line with industry standards.
Salary: £27-£30k dependant on experience
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out bulk asbestos sample preparation and analysis using microscopy techniques
* Identify asbestos fibres and record results accurately
* Ensure work is completed in line with UKAS / ISO 17025 principles (where applicable)
* Maintain accurate records, worksheets, and reporting documentation
* Follow laboratory procedures and health & safety requirements at all times
* Support quality control checks and participate in continuous improvement
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laboratory workspace
