Main duties of the job
1. Independently assess, plan, implement and evaluate the nursing care for a defined caseload of patients
2. Assume responsibility for individual clinical areas within the unit
3. Maintain and continually develop specialist knowledge of nursing practice relevant to individual clinical area
4. Contribute to the development of others through supervision, mentoring and teaching
5. Contribute toward the continuing development of professional nursing practice in the Discharge Lounge
6. To follow trust guidance in regards to safe guarding
