The Role
As a Senior Python Engineer, you’ll join a small, sharp engineering team responsible for building robust backend systems and data-driven features. You’ll help shape architectural decisions, set engineering standards, and work closely with colleagues across the business to deliver high-impact functionality at speed.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Designing and developing reliable, high-performance backend services in Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django)
* Leading architecture discussions and supporting more junior engineers
* Working closely with product, data, and design teams to bring new ideas to life
* Building and scaling cloud-based systems (AWS / GCP / Azure)
* Driving quality across the codebase through testing, automation, and CI/CD
About You
* 5+ years of hands-on Python engineering experience
* Strong background in backend development, APIs, and distributed systems
* Experience working in fast-paced or high-growth environments
* Confidence with cloud infrastructure and containerisation (Docker / Kubernetes)
* Someone who thrives on ownership, problem-solving, and getting things done
