Year 11 Alternative Provision (AP) Teacher - Short-Term Supply

Short-term supply - 1 month cover
Tradewind Recruitment is supporting a Year 11 Centre in Rochdale to recruit a qualified secondary AP Teacher for full-time cover, starting this week, to cover a one-month paternity leave.
This role is suited to a strong all-round classroom practitioner, ideally with experience teaching core subjects - Maths, English, and Science - who can support Year 11 pupils as they prepare for GCSEs and other examinations during a crucial point in the academic year.
The Role
1. Teach and support Year 11 learners across a range of subjects, with core subjects (Maths, English, Science) being most valuable
2. Provide structured classroom teaching, revision support, and exam preparation
3. Maintain routine, consistency, and high expectations
4. Support pupils' engagement, confidence, and readiness for examinations
You'll Need
5. QTS or QTLS preferred
6. Experience teaching or supporting Key Stage 4 / Year 11 pupils
7. Confidence managing whole classes and supporting exam-focused learning
8. A calm, reliable, and adaptable approach
9. Experience in alternative provision (PRU/AP) settings is desirable but not essential
