Due to our ongoing growth, we are excited to offer two opportunities for Shift Managers to join our expanding multi-user site in Southampton. In this role, you will oversee the efficient operation of our warehouse, prioritising colleague wellbeing, health, and safety, and ensuring operational KPIs are met.
This is a full-time, permanent position, working on a Monday – Friday shift pattern, with weekends on a rota basis. Available shifts include AM (7am – 3:30pm) or PM (1:30pm – 9pm).
Pay, benefits, and more:
Salary ranges from £35,000 to £37,000. Typical daily responsibilities:
* Foster positive employee relations through leadership, encouragement, motivation, and effective communication
* Manage agency staffing requirements, ensuring resource planning aligns with volume forecasts and KPIs
* Maintain the headcount tracker for relevant clients, providing daily updates to stakeholders
* Compile and submit operational data (planned and actual) to internal stakeholders as per schedule
Qualifications and skills required:
* Experience leading warehouse teams, preferably within an E-commerce environment
* Strong IT skills, including proficiency with warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Problem-solving skills with the ability to react quickly and follow up appropriately
