Job Description

Early Years Skills Assessor (Field based)\n\nWe are working alongside an award winning independent Training Provider, leaders in the Early Years Sector, who now have a brand new role of Field based skills assessor to cover the North West region. (Greater Manchester and some Lancashire locations)\n\nThis is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional who is seeking a role where they can be out and about in different locations throughout the week, meeting learners to complete their courses, working in tandem with their tutors. No two days will be the same in this busy, varied and fulfilling role, where you will play a vital component in the success of your learner’s future.\n\nOn top of this, you will receive a great basic salary (circa £26k - £28k), 26 days holiday + all bank holidays, complete autonomy in the day to day running of your diary, and full expenses for all travel costs, as well as joining a friendly, supportive company who place work / life balance at the top of their employee agenda.\n\nThe company work a proven system where each learning consultants cohorts are tutored and aided remotely – once these have reached the level where they need to be observed you will be called in to carry these out!

You will obviously need a good background and knowledge of the Childcare sector, a pleasant and friendly manner and be flexible in your approach. Aside from dealing with the learners and their managers on site, you will also be in constant with the Learning Consultants themselves, offering feedback and advice.\n\nCovering the North West area, you will also require good organisational skills and a strong geographical knowledge, to ensure you are making the most of your day to its full potential, and will manage your own diary accordingly.\n\nYou can expect an initial full training programme to get you up to speed with role, and ongoing support and development, as you’d expect from a Sunday Times Top 100 Company to Work For –\n\nWe are interested to speak to candidates with a proven record of tutoring / assessing up to Level 5, who are looking for a change of path in their career – you may feel a bit stifled in the WFH environment, and want more face to face interaction, or perhaps think now’s the time to try a different aspect of your role.\n\nWe are looking to interview ASAP to appoint ideally for a June start subject to notice periods
