Recruitment Coordinator

Job Introduction

A bit about the role

The Selfridges Recruitment Team are part of the wider HR team who are focused on recruiting, retaining, and developing the best talent for Selfridges.

The Recruitment Coordinator role is a central part of the Recruitment Team supporting with managing the candidate experience whilst working on ad hoc projects or work streams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct screening and telephone interviews with candidates

2. Screen video interviews

3. Schedule candidates for interviews

4. Prepare and collating interview paperwork

5. Source for passive candidates via the internet and social media

6. Write and post job advertisements

7. Ensure all advertisements are current and up to date

8. Identify new opportunities to attract candidates e.g. job boards

9. Support on ad hoc projects e.g. improvement of selection tool with wider team

10. Update reports such as our vacancy tracker

11. Liaise with the HR admin team to process offers and manage the new starter process

12. Support the team with any ad hoc administration

13. Identify opportunities for internal recruitment events and work with the Recruitment team to deliver value adding events.

14. Ensure your right to work knowledge and processes are up to date and adhered to

15. Maintain and promote careers website, both internally and externally

16. Have an active presence on LinkedIn to increase candidate attraction

17. Develop talent pools to ensure a constant supply of excellent talent to the business

18. Build strong working relationships with the Recruitment Team, wider HR team and stakeholders to ensure a high service level is provided to all business areas.

22. Ability to collaborate effectively with others

23. Keen eye for attention to detail

24. Discreet whilst handling confidential information

25. Strong writing and numerical skills

26. Ability to learn quickly at pace with the ability to adapt to change and a varying workload.

27. Able to use Microsoft packages

28. Familiar with social media channels

29. A self-starter with a passion their own development.

30. Able to quickly develop and maintain relationships.

31. Strong organisational skills.

32. Excellent prioritisation and time management skills.
