About the role
We’re seeking a Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or experienced Paralegal to join our Real Estate team, based in our Ross on Wye office, as part of our highly integrated and growing Commercial Property team, who are ranked in Chambers and Legal .
This team offers a wealth of bespoke experience and advises a range of clients, from PLCs and international companies to sole traders and private individuals. Due to our location, we also work with rural and agricultural clients, including farms, land and solar related work.
Day to day, you will have a varied caseload, including:
1. Commercial property conveyancing
2. Assisting the Partner with drafting of leases, licenses, contracts, and overage agreements
3. Processing re-mortgages and bridging finance
4. Taking instructions from clients and actioning on their behalf to conclude the matter
5. Working collaboratively with the partner and the wider team with client related matters
6. Dealing with day-to-day correspondence promptly
Whilst this role is based in Ross on Wye office there will be the opportunity for you to work with other fee earners based at our other offices.
About you
We’re extremely proud of the relationship we’ve built with our clients and referrers, being recognised as their trusted legal partner. It’s important to us that you have the right blend of skills to service their needs and develop new relationships:
7. Qualified Solicitor/Legal Executive with 0-2 years PQE or an experienced Paralegal
8. Proven experience of working in commercial property (to include seats during training contract)
9. Experience with leasehold and freehold properties
10. Knowledge of transfers of part, leases, re-mortgaging, and bridging finance (desirable)
11. Strong IT, organisational, and communication skills
12. Team player
