Jemca are currently offering a new opportunity as a Service Advisor to join our business based out of our Toyota Reading dealership. As a Service Advisor you will be responsible for working with our current customers and managing the service and repair of their vehicles.
A Service Advisor will use excellent communication skills to customers and be sure to retain them for the future. You will need to work in your team to maximise upsell opportunities whilst amazing our customers with your level of customer service. This is great opportunity for an experienced Service Advisor to increase their earning potential in the one of the UK’S best brands.
What we need
1. Working closely with customers to arrange and plan out servicing and repairs on their vehicles.
2. Provide accurate estimates for servicing and repairs, ensuring the customer is fully aware of the likely costs and timescales involved and setting expectations accordingly.
3. Work with colleagues across the dealership (including parts, technicians and sales) to provide the best service.
4. Organise the collection and delivery of cars for delivery.
5. Encourage the sale of parts, accessories, and service plans whenever possible, acting on opportunities to sell additional products/services and market current promotions.
6. Contact customers to update on workshop progress, agreeing any additional spends.
7. Follow key processes to achieve excellent customer service and upsell targets.
8. Write job cards and brief technicians on work coming in.
9. Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
Your Skills
10. Relevant experience in a Main dealer - Ideal
11. Be an experienced Service Advisor
12. Have excellent interpersonal skills and desire to deliver a great service.
13. Work well under pressure
14. Have a desire to strive and hit sales targets.
15. Understanding of computer systems such as e-mail, using online training and manufacturer technical systems
