About the Anthro JV
The Anthro joint venture between Egis and VVB Engineering provides comprehensive services for London’s HS2 gateway station at Old Oak Common. We are delivering MEPHFC systems as part of a multi-year contract.
Job Summary
We are seeking experienced BIM Modellers to support the HS2 Old Oak Common project. The role involves creating and coordinating high-quality 3D CAD models aligned with project standards and the BIM Execution Plan. The position is based in West London and Waterloo with hybrid working options.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage project delivery from technical design to construction, ensuring standards compliance.
* Implement best practices and liaise with stakeholders and supply chain.
* Ensure quality standards for all deliverables, including information exchange and conversion processes.
* Create detailed 3D CAD models using Bentley software, ensuring coordination and clash avoidance.
* Coordinate with discipline BIM leads to optimize clash results.
* Produce high-quality models and drawings for railway station projects, ensuring integration with project information models.
* Maintain model accuracy and compliance with project requirements and standards.
* Support BIM team members and participate in quality assurance and compliance monitoring.
* Collaborate with other disciplines for efficient model integration and coordination.
* Provide technical support and guidance on BIM-related issues.
Skills and Experience
* Minimum 3 years’ experience as a BIM Modeller on major infrastructure or transportation projects.
* Experience in engineering production environments, with a railway, transportation, or construction background.
* Knowledge of UK BIM standards (BS1192, ISO 19650).
* Proficiency in Bentley software, including ProjectWise, OpenBuilding Designer, RaceWay (preferred), and MicroStation.
* Experience leading the development of 3D CAD components from concept to detailed models.
* Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams and contribute to integrated project deliverables.
* Understanding of UK design standards such as Network Rail, HS2, and TfL.
* Experience with BEPs, TIDP, MIDP, and MPDT documentation.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new BIM technologies and workflows.
