About the role
Due to a maternity leave, we have a 12-month Fixed Term opportunity for an established HR Business Partner to join NFU Mutual, Which? Insurance Brand of the Year 2024. You’ll work in partnership with a team of 200 HR colleagues and the business to identify people-related priorities aligned with our strategy and KBIs. You will lead the planning and execution of various HR projects and initiatives within an aligned business area. Working closely with the Strategic HR Business Partner, you will provide a strategic HR partnering service with dedicated divisional accountability. Your responsibilities include leading on talent management, engagement, organizational change, and development initiatives. You will collaborate with the business to deliver tailored HR advice, insights, and analysis to drive impactful change, ensuring alignment with group risk appetite through supporting the delivery of divisional People Plans.
About you
You are a highly effective communicator with exceptional influencing and stakeholder management skills. The role involves sensitive and confidential conversations, so discretion and the ability to build trusted relationships are essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
To be considered, you should have:
* Demonstrable strategic HR Business Partnering experience within a Financial Services organization.
* Experience in organizational change and talent development.
* Good knowledge of HR functions such as talent acquisition, reward, performance management, culture, organizational development, and HR compliance.
* Proven ability to translate HR strategy into actionable, divisional people plans aligned with business priorities.
* Significant change management experience across multiple streams of activity.
* Strong consulting skills, including needs assessment, problem-solving, project management, and providing actionable recommendations.
* A full UK driving license, as some UK travel may be required.
* Availability to start within one month or less.
